Why Jezz Design?
“We had a few things we wanted to renovate. Our drawings were a copy of the original floor plan that we had whited out, marked up and made rough notes on. Jezz quoted and was happy to work in stages according to our budget. He made suggestions that enhanced the original ideas which made the interior spaces much larger and more open. There was never “it can’t be done” but there were suggestions to do things in a better way. Last minute changes were considered on more than one occasion and costed for us on the same day which enabled us to make quick decisions on whether to proceed or not.
The co-ordination of the work was a collaborative effort using his contractors and some that I decided to use. I cannot fault any of the trades he had working on our job. In hind sight we should have used more of his and less of ours as it became apparent he had a team that worked well together and helped each other out. Apart from the general supervision Jezz was the main work horse on the project and was personally responsible for the interior demolition and many minor items like shaving the bottom off a door for the tiler.
Importantly the structural modifications that took place were overseen by a structural engineer and engineer approved drawings were supplied as soon as they were issued. This is just part of the service provided.
Jezz Design is about making someone else’s ideas work. We are so surprised by the results we have achieved on this renovation. We still have work to do and will be having Jezz back on the job.”
